eBPF/Kernel Engineer

The job is for an integral member of the Cilium team, focusing on developing high-performance eBPF code for open source projects like Cilium, Hubble, and Tetragon. Requirements

• Computer Science degree, or equivalent experience
• Multiple years of experience with C and eBPF knowledge
• Strong knowledge about Linux systems design and either security or networking
• Desire to write high quality and efficient code

Responsibilities

• Developing high-quality eBPF code for the Cilium, Hubble & Tetragon open source projects
• Linux Kernel upstream development
• Active participation in the open-source community
• Possibility to speak at public conferences about achievements (if desired)

Preferred Qualifications

• GO knowledge is a plus
• A public track record of open source code commits is a plus
• Experience in public speaking at technical open source conferences is a plus
