Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Relevant certification (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper) is a plus
• Previous experience in an e-Commerce setting is highly desirable
• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role, with a focus on e-Commerce transactions
• Proficiency in accounting software and tools, with a strong understanding of e-Commerce platforms
• Solid understanding of financial principles and practices
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Responsibilities

• Record and reconcile daily e-Commerce transactions accurately and in a timely manner
• Monitor and classify income, expenses, and other financial activities associated with e-Commerce operations
• Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes specific to e-Commerce transactions
• Prepare and generate regular financial reports related to e-Commerce activities
• Assist in preparing and filing tax returns related to e-Commerce transactions
• Collaborate with the operations team to manage and reconcile e-Commerce inventory
• Conduct periodic audits to verify accuracy and completeness of inventory records
• Support the development and monitoring of budgets related to e-Commerce operations
• Assist in forecasting financial trends and identifying potential areas for cost savings
• Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for improving e-Commerce profitability
