eConsult Specialist Panel - Plastic Surgery

Summary

The job is for a Plastic Surgeon to work as a specialist on an eConsult platform, providing advice to primary care clinicians. The job involves responding to questions, ensuring recommendations are cost-effective and evidence-based, and participating in product interviews and projects.

Requirements

• An active U.S. medical license
• Board certification through the American Board of Plastic Surgery

Responsibilities

• Respond to questions submitted by primary care clinicians on our HIPAA-compliant text-based electronic consultation (eConsult) platform
• Ensure recommendations are educational, cost-effective, and supported by evidence-based clinical guidelines
• Provide follow-up support as needed
• Participate in voluntary product interviews to inform new product extensions and platform updates
• Participate in voluntary projects and activities upon request (e.g. peer review, CME webinars, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest in, or experience, educating early- to mid-career clinicians
• Experience with eConsults a plus
