Requirements
- Working knowledge of X12 Manual (837P, 837I, 835, 276, 277)
- Experience performing Healthcare EDI/ERA enrollment process from start to finish for Part A and/or Part B facilities
- Experience as EDI Enrollment specialist and/or credentialing specialist, completing enrollment process from start to finish
- Clear and effective communicator with excellent verbal and written skills
- Demonstrated extreme attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines with a strong sense of urgency
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and work independently as well as in a team setting
Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to help determine all the payers they will need to be enrolled with
- Create EDI Master List that organize all enrollments Prompt will be responsible for and all of the enrollments (and their instructions) that the customer will need to perform
- Complete drafts of all EDI enrollments and seek approval from customer for submission
- Obtain signature from clients on all EDI enrollment forms
- File the enrollment forms payers and clearinghouse as needed
- Work with the client to fill out all the forms in which they are responsible to complete, submit and follow up with
- Ensure sure the client fills out all the forms
- Email/Call to follow up on all filings at recurring intervals
- Learn and leverage our helpdesk software in order to file and follow up on enrollments and communicate with customers
- During times where enrollments are complete, cross train with EDI analysts on how to be an effective contributor to the general help desk software conversation queue
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior startup and/or B2B SaaS technology organization experience
- Experience in any function of clinical development or medical billing operations (clinical operations, data management, biostatistics, system management, information management, medical monitoring, RCM follow up, claim review and submission, etc.)
- Experience with Zendesk or similar customer support software
- Experience with healthcare data/systems, ideally clinical/operational clinical trial data/systems
- Knowledge of e-clinical systems and technologies (e.g. EMR, RTM, HEP, CRM, HIEs, etc)
