Join our team as a highly skilled eDiscovery & Information Governance Advisor! This fully remote role requires expertise in eDiscovery, information governance, and litigation within a law firm or consulting environment. You will guide clients in managing electronic data, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities include eDiscovery process management, developing information governance frameworks, providing litigation support, and delivering client advisory services and training. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced eDiscovery platforms and stay current on industry trends. This position offers a competitive salary between $100,000 and $138,000 annually.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert guidance on all stages of the eDiscovery process, including identification, preservation, collection, processing, review, analysis, and production
  • Collaborate with legal teams to develop and implement cost-effective eDiscovery strategies tailored to client needs
  • Leverage advanced eDiscovery platforms and tools to streamline workflows and enhance review efficiencies
  • Advise clients on developing and implementing robust information governance frameworks to manage electronic records and data assets
  • Assess compliance with regulatory and legal obligations related to data retention, privacy, and security
  • Recommend best practices for data classification, archiving, and defensible disposition
  • Partner with litigators to identify key data sources and develop defensible discovery plans
  • Provide insights and technical expertise on discovery disputes, document review workflows, and production requirements
  • Assist in preparing expert reports, affidavits, or testimony regarding eDiscovery or information governance issues when needed
  • Deliver tailored advisory services to clients across industries, addressing their unique eDiscovery and governance challenges
  • Conduct training sessions for legal and technical teams on eDiscovery tools, processes, and governance best practices
  • Stay up to date on the latest trends and developments in eDiscovery and information governance technologies
  • Evaluate and recommend technology solutions to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance with industry standards
