You will play a key role in supporting various aspects of the company's portfolio by providing litigation technology support, monitoring changes in laws and industry best practices, testing system upgrades, and advising on the handling of electronic information. This executive-level position requires 5 years of eDiscovery/litigation support experience, 3 years of progressive experience on major litigation support projects, and 2 years of experience with Relativity. A BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience is required, with a JD highly preferred. Requirements
- 5 (five) years of eDiscovery/litigation support experience with a focus on client solutions
- 3 (three) years of progressive more responsible experience on major lit support projects
- 2 years in Relativity, beyond document review coding
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with both eDiscovery technical teams and non-technical business leaders and team players
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and agile work environment
- Experience and familiarity with eDiscovery Services covering all realms of the EDRM (File to Trial)
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- The ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (active clearance preferred)
- BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience (JD highly preferred)
Responsibilities
- Monitor changes to laws that impact civil and criminal litigation to determine their impact on current FBI Discovery policies and procedures
- Monitor the commercial industry to determine how new technology or best practices can be applied to improve FBI Discovery
- Verify that any proposed solution to an existing requirement satisfactorily meets the underlying need
- Conduct testing of system upgrades or patches prior to release
- Verify that any proposed solution successfully delivers a new functional business capability that addresses one or more existing requirements
- Provide advice on identifying, preserving, collecting, processing, and producing ESI in support of civil litigation, selected criminal matters, select FOIA requests, Congressional requests and other external inquiries using the current suite of FBI tools and processes
- Monitor daily separation reports to identify departing legal hold custodians and ensure proper preservation of material subject to legal hold requirements
- Update and/or create standard operating procedures of the ETA role
- Provide a strong technical background on the use of electronic discovery applications and provide a strong legal background and expertise on the electronic discovery applications
