Summary

Join our team as a Spanish Language Editor at Career.io, where you'll provide high-level support to Spanish writers while implementing ongoing quality control and improvement initiatives. This is a 100% remote/work-from-home role.

Requirements

  • Native or equivalent proficiency in international and business Spanish; exceptional oral and written communication skills with success in engaging with a diverse range of individuals at multiple internal and external levels
  • Keen attention to detail and strong editorial, organizational, prioritization, and time-management skill
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain positive, collaborative, respect-based relationships with colleagues, clients and contractors
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a writing-intensive field (literature, history, anthropology, etc.) is strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with Google Applications, Microsoft Office Suite, and web-based applications
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating closely via video conferencing and chat applications in a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on mentorship for new writers
  • Complete audits of writer orders to assess performance and determine/update writer score
  • Review, score, and respond to projects for newly onboarded writers to generate writer scores and expedite alignment with quality standards
  • Provide detailed, collaborative follow up with writers regarding quality concerns and company/brand expectations
  • Evaluate drafts for refunded/reassigned orders to assess eligibility for payment
  • Track writer quality trends for future follow-up; escalate critical or persistent issues to management
  • Respond to questions regarding standards, collaborate regarding effective strategies, and escalate complex/repeatedly rejected projects to management
  • Recommend document and communication strategies to writers to address unusual client needs
  • Craft and update templates, strategy guides, and communication scripts for writers
  • Serve as a tier-2 resource for escalated client concerns related to documents, communicating in writing and by phone to address quality concerns, gather feedback, explain strategies and best practices, and expedite resolution
  • Assist new writers with determining the appropriate protocol for de-escalating clients (i.e. free services)
