Summary
Join the Koch Internship Program (KIP), a paid 10-week experiential learning program, and gain meaningful work experience at a non-profit. The program includes virtual professional development sessions with mentorship and a capstone project. Interns receive a $3,300 or $5,500 stipend depending on whether they work part-time or full-time. Successful candidates will interview with both the non-profit partner and Stand Together Fellowships staff. This internship with the Foundation for Economic Education (FEE)'s Education Entrepreneurship Lab offers remote work options and focuses on education and entrepreneurship. Requirements
- Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to efficiently prioritize tasks
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.) and willingness to learn new software and tools
- Independent and team-oriented, demonstrating a proactive and positive approach to work
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a creative and resourceful mindset
Responsibilities
- Drafting articles and website content
- Creating social media posts
- Interacting with families and founders interested in finding or building new schools and learning models
- Assisting with planning for Kerryβs August 2025 book launch events
- Helping with conference presentation planning
- Identifying new opportunities for the Lab
- Staying up-to-date on education policy trends
Preferred Qualifications
- A background in economics or related majors desired, but not required
- An understanding of education policy trends preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration at all levels; previous publishing experience a plus
