Education Entrepreneurship Lab Intern

Summary

Join the Koch Internship Program (KIP), a paid 10-week experiential learning program, and gain meaningful work experience at a non-profit. The program includes virtual professional development sessions with mentorship and a capstone project. Interns receive a $3,300 or $5,500 stipend depending on whether they work part-time or full-time. Successful candidates will interview with both the non-profit partner and Stand Together Fellowships staff. This internship with the Foundation for Economic Education (FEE)'s Education Entrepreneurship Lab offers remote work options and focuses on education and entrepreneurship. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Requirements

• Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail
• Ability to efficiently prioritize tasks
• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.) and willingness to learn new software and tools
• Independent and team-oriented, demonstrating a proactive and positive approach to work
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a creative and resourceful mindset

Responsibilities

• Drafting articles and website content
• Creating social media posts
• Interacting with families and founders interested in finding or building new schools and learning models
• Assisting with planning for Kerry’s August 2025 book launch events
• Helping with conference presentation planning
• Identifying new opportunities for the Lab
• Staying up-to-date on education policy trends

Preferred Qualifications

• A background in economics or related majors desired, but not required
• An understanding of education policy trends preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration at all levels; previous publishing experience a plus
