EHR Support and Database Engineer

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field
• Minimum of three years of experience with NextGen EHR systems
• Minimum of three years of experience working with SQL databases
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data retrieval, analysis, and reporting
• Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) or equivalent tools for database management
• Ability to design, implement, and maintain SQL databases, ensuring data integrity, performance optimization, and security
• Experience in developing, testing, and deploying SQL stored procedures, functions, and triggers
• Familiarity with database design principles and normalization

Responsibilities

• Document and follow up on reported issues, SQL Database and NextGen application health
• Provide high quality customer service, properly documenting and timely communication of projects updates

Preferred Qualifications

Certification in Amazon Web Services (AWS) is highly desirable
