Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering principles, theories, and methodologies
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design and analysis software, including CAD tools and simulation software
  • Familiarity with electrical codes, regulations, and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and technical presentations
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance with the requirement of a U.S. Citizenship
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and development of electrical systems and components for new and ongoing projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards and specifications
  • Analyze project requirements, technical specifications, and client needs to determine optimal electrical design solutions
  • Create and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software engineers, and project managers, to integrate electrical systems seamlessly
  • Conduct calculations, simulations, and testing to validate the performance, reliability, and safety of electrical designs
  • Select appropriate components, equipment, and materials based on project requirements and budget constraints
  • Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for stakeholders, clients, and management
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, advancements, and regulations in electrical engineering to propose innovative solutions and enhancements
