Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience working with Elixir
• Strong understanding of functional programming principles and experience in designing distributed systems
• Proven ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Comfortable working in a fully remote team and adhering to a New York City work schedule (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST)
• Upper Intermediate or higher level of English (both spoken and written)

Responsibilities

• Build, optimize, and maintain robust Elixir applications
• Develop scalable, high-performance backend systems to support the client’s custom menswear platform
• Collaborate with the frontend engineer to ensure seamless integration between backend and frontend components
• Work closely with the project manager and client to understand requirements, provide updates, and deliver exceptional results
• Participate in system architecture planning, technical discussions, and code reviews
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Debug and resolve technical issues promptly to maintain platform performance and reliability

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
