Join Energy Solutions, a growing company focused on market-based programs for energy, carbon, and water savings, as an Energy Efficiency Project Manager I. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, you will support point-of-sale instant rebates foodservice programs. You will have a broad impact on energy efficiency and greenhouse gas reductions, working with Program Administrators and leaders in the commercial foodservice industry. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the nation's energy future. Daily responsibilities include outreach to accounts, claim processing, organizing meetings, managing projects and budgets, communicating progress, and contributing to program development. Regional travel is required.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience with a bachelor's degree OR
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
- Seeking well qualified candidates based in the San Francisco Bay Area
- Regional travel of up to 20% required Must be able to operate a vehicle (Driver's license required)
- Must have access to a personal vehicle for travelling 2-5days/month
- Trips may be up to 200 miles roundtrip (Mileage reimbursed) Ridesharing services not applicable
- NorCal outreach range covers San Jose to Santa Rosa and may expand further
- Strong communication skills including comfort and interest in foodservice equipment dealer outreach and engagement
- Demonstrated customer service experience and ability to build relationships with foodservice market actors and be comfortable through phone calls, zoom and face to face meetings
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Strong technical writing, presentation and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and OneNote)
- Ability to work and thrive independently and juggle multiple competing priorities
- Proactive and collaborative problem-solving approach

Responsibilities
- Conduct regular in-person, phone, and zoom outreach to assigned accounts to facilitate and maximize participation in rebate programs
- Review and submit rebate claims, support claim processing, and coordinate corrections with accounts
- Organize and facilitate in-person meetings, conference calls, and collaborative sessions
- Coordinate program status meetings, capture escalations and proactively resolve or bring issues to management as needed
- Overall direction, management, quality control and completion of program deliverables
- Manage project budgets and tasks with minimal oversight
- Facilitate the progress of multiple tasks and bring them to conclusion
- Communicate program progress to management and clients
- Interact with clients, program participants, sub-contractors and external collaborators
- Track utility and energy efficiency trends and other market changes that impact CFS programs and the market
- Contribute to strategy and new program design development to grow our foodservice product offerings and impacts
- Conduct literature searches, market research and data analysis
Preferred Qualifications
Food service experience ideally in kitchen or in equipment sales

- Compensation is commensurate with experience within the pay bands of $65,000 - $75,000/Annually
