Requirements
- Currently working towards an engineering and ideally having experience in at least one prior internship
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Strong verbal, written, analytical, and persuasive skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels
- Highly organized, exhibiting meticulous attention to detail
- Exceptional time management and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently on assignments
- Strong interpersonal skills, an energetic, proactive, flexible individual with high integrity and ethics in all dealings
- Skilled with standard office applications including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience with CAD programs, SolidWorks preferred
Responsibilities
- Execution of product testing including documentation
- Development of test methods and protocols, and reporting of testing completed
- Generation of solid models and drawings using SolidWorks
- Investigation and assessments of materials, components and equipment options as needed for development or testing
- Researching and summarizing applicable medical literature
- Sourcing and ordering materials and supplies for engineering and development work
- Maintenance of Engineering laboratory equipment and corresponding supplies inventory
- Support design change controls documents in Sirtex QMS. (e.g. Design Trace Matrices, QSOP's, QWI's, Product Specifications)
