Requirements

• Currently working towards an engineering and ideally having experience in at least one prior internship
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Strong verbal, written, analytical, and persuasive skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels
• Highly organized, exhibiting meticulous attention to detail
• Exceptional time management and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work independently on assignments
• Strong interpersonal skills, an energetic, proactive, flexible individual with high integrity and ethics in all dealings
• Skilled with standard office applications including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Experience with CAD programs, SolidWorks preferred

Responsibilities

• Execution of product testing including documentation
• Development of test methods and protocols, and reporting of testing completed
• Generation of solid models and drawings using SolidWorks
• Investigation and assessments of materials, components and equipment options as needed for development or testing
• Researching and summarizing applicable medical literature
• Sourcing and ordering materials and supplies for engineering and development work
• Maintenance of Engineering laboratory equipment and corresponding supplies inventory
• Support design change controls documents in Sirtex QMS. (e.g. Design Trace Matrices, QSOP's, QWI's, Product Specifications)
