Engineering Lead

Requirements

• Proven track record of building and delivering software projects/products from start to finish, including planning, development, testing, and deployment
• Strong proficiency in both back-end (BE) and front-end (FE) development, with a focus on JavaScript (JS) and TypeScript (TS)
• Capability to oversee full-stack projects, ensuring they meet both technical and business objectives, and to contribute hands-on when necessary
• Familiarity with modern development practices, tools, and methodologies
• Excellent project management skills, fostering a collaborative environment among team leads
• Outstanding communication abilities to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa
• Ability to inspire, mentor, and grow the team's capabilities while also contributing directly to project work
• Professional working proficiency in English

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the engineering team, setting technical direction and strategy for project development
• Oversee both front-end and back-end development, ensuring high-quality, scalable solutions
• Collaborate with clients and other departments to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables
• Mentor senior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth
• Drive the adoption of best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and deployment processes
• Be actively involved in coding and technical problem-solving, contributing directly to project development
