Summary
Join our team as a technical engineering manager to shape the future of Linux from embedded systems to desktops, leading a distributed team of engineers and driving modern software development practices.
Requirements
Love technology and working with brilliant people

Knowledgeable and passionate about software development
Experience in leading, managing, coaching and mentoring software developers
Comfortable planning and executing to deliver timely, high quality software
Solid experience working in an agile development environment
Bachelorβs or equivalent in Computer Science, STEM or similar degree
Experience with embedded software
Experience with Golang, C/C++, and Shell
Solid understanding of Linux and a modern GNU/Linux distribution, Debian or Ubuntu preferred
Responsibilities
Build and lead a distributed team of engineers through hiring, coaching, mentoring, feedback and hands-on career development
Demonstrate sound engineering principles by directly contributing toward your teamβs goals
Support timely delivery of technical solutions to address business needs
Effectively set and manage expectations with other engineering teams, senior management, and external stakeholders
Advocate and advance modern, agile software development practices and help develop and evangelize great engineering and organizational practices
Grow a healthy, collaborative engineering culture in line with the company values
Be an active part of the leadership team and collaborate with other leaders in the organisation
