Requirements

  • Proven success both technical and people leadership, have honed skills in overseeing a high-performing team
  • Experience working in platform teams
  • Thrives in working collaboratively with non-technical stakeholders such as product and influencing where needed
  • Articulate with a strong background in writing, presenting, and communicating with stakeholders from various technical backgrounds and vernaculars

Responsibilities

  • Coach six software engineers and provide leadership in managing and guiding technical discussions within the AdTech team
  • Actively participate in stakeholder meetings with marketing strategists and leadership to advocate for the Engineering perspective and capture engineering requirements
  • Work collaboratively with group leadership, product managers, and engineers across Marketing and Product to scope and deliver solutions to empower internal teams
  • Lead the creation of technical design documents for cross-group & cross-team initiatives and contribute to engineering timelines and sprint planning
  • Design, develop, and deploy solutions with hands-on software development, while effectively communicating with Program Managers, Product Manager and Engineers
  • Take initiative in achieving goals, improving processes, and identifying opportunities for cross-team collaboration to work on new ideas and improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of Java, typescript, protocol buffers, cloud Infrastructure (including AWS) and observability and reliability practices
  • Experience working with marketing teams, SEM or marketers
