Engineering Manager

Summary

Join our team as an Engineering Manager to lead our Foundational Engineering team, drive technical evolution, and make critical technical decisions. As the Engineering Manager, you'll lead a team of 5 engineers focused on Data Engineering, core infrastructure, DevOps, Engineering Security, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). You'll work closely with key stakeholders across the organisation to shape our infrastructure and engineering practices.

• Deep technical expertise in cloud architecture, data engineering, and modern DevOps practices
• Strong collaborative skills and the ability to influence without authority across various teams and levels

• Excellent communication skills, adept at translating complex technical concepts for diverse audiences

Responsibilities

• Combine deep technical expertise with leadership skills. Be prepared to actively contribute to code, architecture, and system design while guiding your team
• Guide, grow and mentor a team of skilled engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to develop and execute a technical roadmap that aligns with InDebted's business objectives and growth trajectory
• Collaborate with engineering leadership to make key architectural and technology choices that ensure scalability, security, and reliability of our systems
• Operate as a core enabling team, actively supporting and upskilling other engineering teams to build and operate their systems more effectively
• Identify and champion new technologies and methodologies that can give InDebted a competitive edge in the market
