Summary

Join Pismo as a tech lead and build high-performing teams. You will hire and develop technical personnel, delegate tasks, collaborate on problem-solving, and analyze user needs. Responsibilities include creating team goals, ensuring software updates, supervising system modifications, conducting risk analysis, and guiding the team through technical challenges. You'll need strong leadership experience, Java or Golang expertise, relational database experience, and familiarity with CI/CD, software architecture, microservices, and AWS. Requirements

• Upper-intermediate English - B2 (speaking)
• Previous experience leading a team and building processes
• Hands-on experience with Java or Golang
• Hands-on experience with Relational DBs
• Previous experience with CI/CD
• Previous professional experience with Software Architecture
• Experience with Microservices
• Experience with AWS
• Previous experience with large-scale/high-throughput services
• Previous experience with mission-critical services
• Understand SRE/DevOps concepts
• Understand Quality and Security concepts

Responsibilities

• Hiring and developing technical personnel by conducting periodic 1:1 sessions and providing regular feedback
• Knowledge of the scope and a deep-level overview of their products and goals inside the team
• Delegating work and assignments to team members
• Collaborating with their team to identify and fix technical problems
• Analyzing users’ needs and then finding applications to serve them
• Creating end goals for the team
• Checking that software and applications are updated
• Supervising system modifications
• Conducting a risk analysis to identify areas of improvement
• Guiding their team through technical issues and challenges
• Monitor their team service's OPS
• Guarantee their teamwork follows high-standards development processes, including PR reviews, code quality, test coverage, robustness, resilience, performance, scalability, security, and responsiveness

Preferred Qualifications

• Desirable experience in the financial industry
• Desirable experience with BigData tools, such as Spark and Databricks or AWS EMR
