Summary
Join Ikerian AG, a fast-growing medical device software company, as an experienced Engineering Manager. Lead and grow our technical team, overseeing software development projects, mentoring engineers, and contributing to strategic hiring. You will manage project and release cycles, foster professional development, and actively participate in recruitment. Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in a technical role (software engineering, DevOps, or related)
- 3-5 years of experience in management (team leadership, coaching, or engineering management)
- Strong project management skills and experience with software deployment
- Experience in software programming (medical device experience is not required)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, or related)
- Demonstrated entrepreneurial and collaborative mindset
- Strong stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and leadership skills
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Must reside in Europe and be fluent in English
- Available to work during Central European Time (CET) business hours
Responsibilities
- Oversee the release of new product versions, ensuring timely delivery and high quality
- Conduct 1:1s, provide feedback, and foster professional development as the team expands
- Actively support recruitment to build a strong engineering team
- Leverage your strong technical background to guide engineers and facilitate cross-functional collaboration
