Join Canva's Integration Capabilities team and lead a newly formed team to deliver public REST APIs for Canva’s third-party developer ecosystem. Drive high-impact backend engineering across integration capabilities used by strategic enterprise partners. Partner with product, design, and developer platform teams to shape and deliver meaningful platform outcomes. Build and refine scalable API foundations that serve internal and external developers. Create a thriving team culture that supports experimentation, safety, and continuous feedback. Enable agentic workflows and cross-team integrations in Canva’s evolving ecosystem. This role requires a technical and people leader with experience coaching high-performing engineering teams and a strong backend background, ideally in Java, with AWS knowledge.

• You have a strong background in the backend space, ideally in Java, and working knowledge of AWS
• You thrive in ambiguous environments with competing priorities and fast-moving roadmaps
• Yo9u have a product mindset—understanding how to align engineering with user and business outcomes
• You know how to balance long-term tech vision with rapid delivery
• Your communication is key and you communicate clearly and influence across technical and non-technical stakeholders
