Requirements

• Strong ML/Data Science background with extensive experience in exploring data, designing features, training and validating models, and deploying and monitoring these models in production
• Motivated to achieve results and perform impactful work
• At least 2 years of experience as an Engineering Manager, driving the execution and delivery of projects
• Methodical, detail-oriented, and capable of taking ownership of large projects involving multiple teams
• Excellent interpersonal, intercultural, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead the ML Security Applied Research team (4+ ML researchers), focusing on building ML solutions that support our security-related products, including hCaptcha
• Oversee the execution and delivery of research projects, working closely with the tech lead, product manager, project manager, and engineering counterparts
• Participate in architectural, design, and technical decisions, ensuring correctness. Be hands-on and understand the overall codebase well enough to perform code reviews and PRs
• Mentor team members and ensure their happiness, challenge, and growth. Always approach these tasks with kindness
