Summary

Join MED PLANET, a Lyon-based fieldwork agency and subsidiary of M3 Inc., as a Bilingual Revision and Quality Checker. You will be responsible for reviewing and ensuring the quality of English medical market research materials translated into Chinese. This role requires fluency in both English and Chinese, along with proven experience in medical and/or market research translation. A strong understanding of medical terminology and market research methodologies is essential. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills. Experience with CAT tools, particularly SDL Trados, is preferred. The position offers remote work.

Requirements

• Fluency in English and Chinese
• Native proficiency in Chinese (Simplified and/or Traditional)
• Excellent command of written and spoken English is crucial
• Accurately render the ideas of the source text into the target language so that the text reads as though it were written in the target language
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and market research methodologies is essential
• Proven experience (at least 2 years) in medical and/or market research translation
• Ability to review and edit translations for accuracy, fluency, and clarity
• Awareness of cultural differences and the ability to adapt language accordingly
• Ability to communicate effectively with Project Managers and raise queries when in doubt
• Ability to manage your own schedule and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CAT tools and possession of a licence ideally, preferably SDL Trados
• Background in medicine is not required but would be an advantage
