Entry-Level Geotechnical Project Manager

Summary

Join UES as an Entry-Level Geotechnical Project Manager to deliver comprehensive geotechnical services through project coordination, field explorations, laboratory testing, analysis, and report preparation. This role manages moderate to complex projects with technical expertise.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) ABET or an accredited four-year college or university in civil engineering or geology
• Ability to travel 50% of the time is highly desired
• Preferred experience in solar energy or renewable energy
• Familiarity with modern office tools including the use of computer-based programs such as gINT, SLOPE/W, VOLFLO, gSTABL, SLIDE, Microsoft Excel, LPILE, etc
• Possession of a valid Texas driver's license and an acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Perform geotechnical analysis and study to assess construction site condition
• Plan and conduct geotechnical exploration effectively
• Perform field investigations for construction projects
• Assist project professionals with project execution, proposal, and report preparation
• Execute smaller to complex projects
• Coordinate required testing/sampling with drill crews and assist with field activities as necessary
• Interpret field data and assign laboratory testing
• Communicate results of field and laboratory testing, and geotechnical recommendations, to clients
• Prepare geotechnical reports
• Assist with field activities during construction (occasional travel to job sites within Texas and surrounding states)
