Summary

The job is a project-based, remote position for an Esperanto Language Verifier at Productive Playhouse Inc. (PPH). Requirements

• Native-level (C2) proficiency in Esperanto
• Ability to read and write in Esperanto
• Familiarity with linguistics, grammar, and writing system/s of the required language
• Knowledge of colloquialisms, grammar, and linguistic idiosyncrasies unique to the required language
• Ability to record yourself speaking clearly in a quiet environment
• Responsiveness to email
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Computer and internet skills
• Web search skills
• Typing
• Previous professional experience working in the required language
• Formal education in the required language, secondary school or higher, strongly preferred
• Masters or Phd in Linguistics, Translation Studies, or the required language, preferred
• Personal laptop or access to a computer
• Access to the internet
• Access to email
