Estimator

Summary

The job is for a position in contract administration or project management within the electrical and data industry. The role involves estimation management, liaising with the operations department, and ensuring accurate estimations and job information. The ideal candidate should have relevant qualifications and experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Contracts Administration, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
• At least three years of experience in contract administration, project management, estimation, or related area
• Experience with engineering design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.)
• Knowledgeable in any Digital Estimator Tool/Software
• Experienced in data entry with keen eye for details and identifying potential project risks
• Understanding and experience in the electrical and data industry

Responsibilities

• Estimation Management
• Provide planning and support, for the day-to-day operations across a broad range of areas
• Schedule and manage all tender requests
• Ensure quantifiable project specific take offs are completed for materials and labor to ensure accuracy of estimations
• Follow up all submitted tenders within agreed timescales
• Identify suitable and appropriate value engineering opportunities for clients, where applicable
• Liaise with the Operations Department as required when a contract/project is secured to ensure that the operations team
• Ensure that all job information including time tracking, margin tracking is accurate and up to date and that all reprinting and reviewing is completed in a timely manner

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the engineering industry
• Strong attention to detail in handling of numerical data
