Summary

InCharge Energy is hiring a detail-oriented EVCS Technician to support their service division. The technician will diagnose and repair charging infrastructure, maintain documentation, coordinate with third parties, and ensure on-time project delivery. They require at least 2 years of electrical or related experience, an associate's degree in an electrician-related field, and excellent client-facing communication skills.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of electrical, EV or related work experience in a client-facing role
  • Associate’s degree or certificate in electrician-related field
  • General knowledge of charging, automotive, and/or vehicle systems
  • Hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical or other related field service experience
  • Enterprising, self-starter attitude
  • Adaptable to the changing dynamics of start-up business strategy
  • Proven working experience in service operations
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, resourceful, diligent, and able to operate independently
  • Intermediate level computer skills (including MS applications)

Responsibilities

  • Repair, maintain, troubleshoot, and service electrical charging infrastructure using various tools
  • Maintain detailed documentation for repairs and installations
  • Coordinate with third parties/vendors for project execution
  • Ensure on-time, within scope, and within budget service delivery
  • Manage a detailed service plan to monitor progress
  • Represent the company at client locations with professional conduct
  • Perform risk management and establish relationships with third parties
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Take detailed ordering briefs from clients and clarify specific requirements
  • Attend conferences and training to maintain proficiency
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associates Degree or higher in an applicable technical field
  • ASE or other applicable certification
  • Commercial Driver's License or ability to obtain
