Join Golin Chicago as a freelance EVP and contribute your expertise in social-first conceptual thinking, copywriting, and digital/social media best practices. You will create engaging long-form content like articles and blog posts, collaborating with subject matter experts to gather information. The role is flexible, allowing for remote work, and requires a commitment of up to 20 hours per week. The hourly rate is $175.

Requirements

• 15+ years’ creative experience in advertising, public relations, or social
• Internet fluency. You know the ins and outs of social media, speak the language of the internet, have gone down YouTube rabbit holes for multiple hours in a row, have uploaded multiple TikTok videos and have explored without fear the inner depths of Reddit
• We are looking for someone who can join us in a Freelance capacity and can commit to up to 20 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Create and develop engaging longform content such as contributed articles and blog posts
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather detailed information and insights for in-depth content
• Conduct thorough research to ensure accuracy and relevance in all materials
• Edit and refine content to maintain clarity, coherence, and consistency
• Ensure alignment with brand voice in all communications
• Work closely with the creative team – designers, producers, copywriters – to ensure we’re creating thumb stopping content and heart stopping ideas

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of earned media is a plus
