Exchange Connectivity Team Lead

Summary

Join Auros, a leading algorithmic trading and market-making firm, as an Exchange Connectivity Team Leader. This remote position, open to APAC candidates, involves leading a team of developers focused on maintaining optimal performance and reliability of our trading systems by developing and maintaining connections to various cryptocurrency exchanges. You will design and implement high-performance connectivity solutions, collaborate with trading teams, ensure system reliability and scalability, and stay updated on the latest exchange APIs and protocols. The ideal candidate possesses extensive software development experience (ideally in a top-tier HFT firm), strong knowledge of exchange APIs and low-latency protocols, and excellent leadership skills. Requirements

• Extensive experience in software development (ideally gained in a top tier HFT firm), with a focus on order management and entry, or experience in market data
• Strong knowledge of exchange APIs, websockets, and low-latency communication protocols
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages (C++ required, Python and Typescript beneficial)
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Deep understanding of low latency exchange connectivity and has led a team in this space
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a remote setting

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of developers focused on exchange connectivity
• Design and implement robust, high-performance connectivity solutions for multiple crypto exchanges
• Drive excellence in execution and market data connectivity while balancing time to market and exchange reliability
• Collaborate with trading teams to understand and meet their connectivity requirements
• Ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our exchange integration systems
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in cryptocurrency exchange APIs and protocols
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex connectivity issues in a fast-paced trading environment
• Set team strategy, plan workloads and act as the conduit connecting business priorities with team outcomes
