Join Catawiki, a unique marketplace for buying and selling special objects, as an Expert Comics! You will evaluate and arrange lots submitted by users, leveraging your expert knowledge and network to create attractive auctions. Responsibilities include reviewing lot details, providing estimated values, and professionally handling rejections. You will also proactively engage with your network to attract new sellers and collaborate with the sales team. The role requires expert knowledge in Belgian and Dutch comics, a dealer/buyer network, and documented commercial experience. Fluency in Dutch and English is essential, and the position offers a hybrid work model based in the Netherlands or Belgium.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge in your field; with broad knowledge around Belgium and Dutch comics
• A network of dealers/buyers
• Documented commercial experience
• Be a natural team player and thrive in a diverse team environment
• Excellent English communication
• Good computer skills
• Have the diplomatic competence needed to act as a mediator in disputes between users
• Fluent in Dutch and English

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and arrange lots submitted by users
• Create attractive auctions every week using expert knowledge and network
• Review lot titles, descriptions, and pictures
• Provide users with an estimated value based on provided information
• Professionally and courteously reject submissions when necessary
• Create your own auctions by engaging with your network and top sellers
• Work with Sales teams to attract new Sellers and offer more choices to Buyers
• Work with the sales team and proactively review seller segments
• Assist team members in onboarding high potential leads and upselling existing sellers
