Requirements

• Deep expertise in Japanese art and antiques
• Professional experience on major platforms such as Catawiki, 1stDibs, eBay, Yahoo! Auctions, and Japanese art and antique fairs
• Understanding of how to optimize auction strategies (reserve prices, sell-through rates, cash flow)
• Excellent analytical skills to monitor auction performance and advise sellers on trends
• Proven track record in the field
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent computer skills
• Network of potential sellers and experts in the field
• Negotiation skills to mediate disputes between users
• Fluency in Japanese and English

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and organize user-submitted lots of Japanese art and antiques
• Create attractive weekly lot lists using your expertise and network
• Maintain fair and transparent transactions between users
• Check lot titles, descriptions, and photos
• Provide users with estimated winning prices based on the information
• Professionally and politely handle item rejections when necessary
