Requirements

  • Pursuing B.S. in Electronics/Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 0 to 1 year experience in the semiconductor industry
  • Good understanding of product test methodology and implementation
  • Knowledge of C, C++ programing language is a plus
  • Demonstrated Proficiency with strong hands-on test development and debug skills
  • Able to work with test equipment (ie, oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc)
  • Strong analytical skills and statistically literate. Knowledge of yield analysis, quality management tools, GR&R, Cp, Cpk
  • Self-directed, capable of managing complex projects, working individually and collaborating with other technologists to achieve objectives
  • Excellent communication skills, including written and spoken English

Responsibilities

  • Learn and Support new product introduction (NPI) initial phase of silicon bring up working within Product Engineering team to validate new device features and test/DFT methodologies
  • Collaborate with ATE Test on test plan/coverage and stability. Assess yields by running the test programs, perform chip testing to ship customer samples
  • Work within the PE team and learn to drive NPI development of highspeed datacenter products and their variants
  • Involve, Learn & Resolve Test engineering & program related issues
  • Perform data mining and statistical data analysis on wafer sort and final test to support initial product yield/performance assessment. Data mining tools are statistical tools like JMP/Silicon-Dash/PDF
  • Perform functional testing and analysis to ensure product operation and reliability

Your Team, Your Impact

DSP Product Engineering team works on cutting edge highspeed chips that transfer data at a very highspeed at 100Gbps/200Gbps PAM4 signals per differential lane aggregating to 400G/800G total data BW per optical connection. These chips are re-timers/gearboxes and get integrated into different pluggable optical modules, typically used in the cloud-datacenter / AI infrastructure backbone to enable highspeed data connectivity. Product Engineers in the team work on silicon bring up, product qualification/characterization, assessing yield / test stability, test coverage, bench correlation and assist in manufacturing test bring up of the product.

What We’re Looking For

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

22 - 44, $ per hour.

The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
