Field Service Technician - Support Engineer Level 1

Summary

Join Tekscape as a Field Technician providing both onsite and remote support to a client in McDonough, GA. You will perform hardware and software installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting, addressing network issues and system outages. Remote support will involve managing and resolving helpdesk tickets and proactive system monitoring. The role requires regular communication with clients and coordination with the Tekscape support team. Occasional off-hours support may be needed for emergencies. Responsibilities

• Provide regular onsite support for the client located in McDonough
• Perform hardware and software installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Address network issues, system outages, and other technical problems that require physical presence
• Conduct onsite assessments, installations, and urgent repairs that cannot be handled remotely
• Offer remote assistance to Kampack Inc. McDonough client via phone, email, or remote desktop applications
• Manage and resolve tickets through a helpdesk system, providing timely and effective solutions
• Monitor client systems proactively to identify and resolve issues before they escalate
• Regular communication with clients to update them on issue status, scheduled maintenance, and any potential system upgrades or changes
• Coordination with the Tekscape support team to escalate issues as necessary and ensure comprehensive support coverage
• Make yourself available to support the client during emergencies or extenuating circumstances whenever possible and circumstances allow
