FileMaker Developer

Summary

As a FileMaker developer, you will develop and maintain customized FileMaker solutions, integrate APIs across various systems, and participate in collaborative planning sessions. This role requires extensive FileMaker Pro expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and proficiency in at least one other programming language. The position offers flexible working hours and a competitive hourly rate of P600-P900.

Requirements

• Possess 3+ years of experience with FileMaker Pro v13+, including relational design, scripting, and UI design
• Demonstrate strong ability to debug, troubleshoot, and find solutions for complex issues
• Be skilled in at least one other programming language (e.g., PHP, JavaScript, SQL) for API integrations
• Have a solid understanding of database design and implementation across platforms
• Be able to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for business-critical applications

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AEI’s customized FileMaker solutions, including relational design, scripting, and report generation
• Work on developing, testing, and deploying API solutions across various systems and ecosystems
• Participate in sprint planning, standup meetings, and other DevOps strategy sessions to align development goals
• Identify, debug, and solve issues within FileMaker applications, ensuring smooth and efficient functionality
• Manage multiple development projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Hold FileMaker Certification to demonstrate advanced expertise
• Possess knowledge of XML, PHP, JSON, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, AWS, and web-stack fundamentals
• Have experience with SQL or .NET for broader system integrations
• Possess strong UI/UX design skills to enhance user experience
• Have familiarity with Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint for project management and financial tracking systems
