Summary

The job is for a Specialist Finance & Accounting position at ELVTR DACH-Team. The role involves creating invoices, managing payments, handling payroll and taxes, working with the global finance team, budgeting, and overseeing financial accounting among other responsibilities. The ideal candidate should have proficient German and English language skills, knowledge of accounting (HGB) and financial analysis, experience with various software like Google Sheets, Excel, Xero-Software, and PowerPoint, and a structured, analytical, and goal-oriented work style.

Requirements

  • Fluent German language skills and at least B1 level English in both speech and writing
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting (HGB) and financial analysis
  • Efficient work with Google Sheets, Google Docs, Datev, Excel, Xero-Software, Online-Banking, and PowerPoint
  • Ideally, the candidate has completed a commercial apprenticeship or works in the areas of tax consulting, financial accounting, or balance sheet accounting
  • A structured, analytical, and goal-oriented work style
  • Security with numbers and reporting skills
  • Affinity for software and willingness to quickly familiarize oneself with various new software solutions
  • Strong motivation to actively shape and improve the work environment
  • Empathy and strong interest in supporting the progress of colleagues

Responsibilities

  • Create invoices for customers in special software
  • Handle payments for suppliers
  • Process payroll and taxes
  • Work with the global finance team to create monthly financial reports
  • Create projections and budgets in collaboration with the global finance team
  • Manage financial accounting effectively
  • Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and submit relevant declarations on time
  • Work efficiently with Datev, Excel, Xero-Software, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Online-Banking
  • Create evaluations and reports for the management team
  • Support the customer support and sales teams regarding invoices
  • Monitor liquidity management
