Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of real estate accounting/finance experience with multi-entity portfolios
  • Deep knowledge of Yardi Breeze and real estate financial systems
  • Proven track record in property management, finance, vendor coordination, and tenant communications
  • Strong grasp of entity-level accounting, acquisition finance, and due diligence processes
  • Ability to manage financials across multiple property types simultaneously
  • Highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented with excellent time management skills
  • Expert: Yardi Breeze (property management accounting)
  • Advanced: Monday.com, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, SignNow

Responsibilities

  • Set up vendors in Yardi Breeze and process invoices with correct entity allocation
  • Review maintenance completion reports before payment approval
  • Execute vendor payments and send payment notifications
  • Handle bi-weekly payments to property managers and assist with RentCafe queries
  • Send tenant payment reminders, track rent collections, and delinquencies in Yardi
  • Process utility payments and track credit card receipts/expenses
  • Monitor and organize financial documents from the Google Drive 'Download' folder
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports for each LLC/entity
  • Coordinate with lenders for required financial statements and documentation
  • Review closing statements and onboard new properties or accounts in Yardi
  • Provide due diligence documentation for acquisitions
  • Prepare quarterly financial summaries and expense analyses
  • Perform daily reconciliation for Multifamily/SFR and monthly for Gas Stations & Medical Offices
  • Upload/download bank statements to Google Drive regularly
  • Maintain up-to-date tenant ledgers and track rent payments across all properties
  • Keep property managers informed of delinquencies and payment statuses
  • Record mortgage obligations and manage fund transfers accordingly
  • Stay on top of compliance tasks via Vcorp.com and assist with tax-related matters
  • Participate in weekly team meetings to share financial insights and updates
