Finance Lead

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in finance or accounting roles with progressive responsibility
• Experience in the Aerospace-Defense industry
• Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, budgeting and management
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in financial software and Google Suite

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s growth and goals
• Lead the budgeting process, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to leadership
• Oversee day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and tax requirements
• Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Assist the VP, Finance & Accounting in fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives
• Serve as a financial advisor to the executive team and other stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or CPA
• DoD Top Secret (or Secret) Security Clearance
