Requirements
- Proficient in SQL, Excel, and Google Suite, with strong data analysis and reporting skills
- ACA or ACCA-qualified
- Solid background in financial reporting, audits, and statutory account preparation
- Expertise in technical accounting with the ability to guide and advise teams
- Knowledge of treasury management, tax compliance, and ERP systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a process improvement focus
- Excellent communication skills, fostering collaboration across departments
Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end profit and loss (P&L) activities, including balance sheet reviews and variance analysis
- Prepare interim financial statements and year-end statutory accounts in line with regulatory standards
- Act as the primary contact for year-end audits, driving efficiency throughout the process
- Improve financial reporting systems and internal controls for greater accuracy and compliance
- Contribute to ERP system projects, focusing on automation and operational enhancements
- Provide technical accounting expertise and support across the finance team
- Develop and implement treasury optimisation strategies to improve financial performance
- Manage KYC documentation to maintain compliance with banking requirements
- Support tax-related activities, including R&D tax credit claims and international tax compliance
- Coordinate insurance renewals, assess insurable risks, and handle customer insurance queries
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with R&D tax credit filings
- Understanding of international tax regulations and group tax management
- Familiarity with insurance processes and procurement strategies
- Experience in finance roles within fast-paced, technology-driven environments
