Summary

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a global (or USA) manufacturing, eCommerce or retail industry
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Excellent working knowledge of Netsuite and Shopify
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and forward thinking
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Deliver accurate and timely financial results on a monthly basis
  • Perform general ledger accounting tasks, such as journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist with accounts payable, including invoice processing and payments
  • Ensure correct processing of inventory receipts
  • Support Group team with month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies
  • Assist with preparation of information for tax and other compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and resolve discrepancies
  • Assisting the team with ad-hoc projects, tasks and reports, as required
  • Provide support during entity and/or group audits and assist in maintaining accurate financial records

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree qualified in accounting, finance or related field
  • Current membership of an appropriate professional accounting organization
  • Bluesheets (or other AP automation tool) experience
