Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist

Summary

The job is for a full-time FP&A Specialist at the startup 'Wander'. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field, 5+ years of experience in FP&A or related finance roles, strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, proficiency in Excel and financial modeling, and experience with BI tools is preferred.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA is a plus
• 5+ years of experience in FP&A or related finance roles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial reports and analyses for board meetings
• Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic decision-making
• Communicate directly with Sr Leadership, investors and board members
• Analyze business performance and provide actionable insights to leadership
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret financial data
• Create and deliver business-level updates to stakeholders
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) preferred
