Forward Deployed Engineer, Firmware Specialist

Requirements

• Have a passion for customer service and iteration, with the ability to liaise between external customers and internal engineering and product teams
• Possess in-depth knowledge of firmware technologies
• Be proficient in Python and bash scripting, with experience in navigating Linux terminals
• Have skill in VPN configuration for remote access and installation
• Demonstrate interest and experience in Bitcoin mining hardware, particularly ASICs and troubleshooting
• Possess exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-centric approach
• Have an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting assistance to customers, ensuring their needs are met in a prompt and professional manner
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation related to firmware installation, feature sets, and troubleshooting
• Engage with Luxor's APIs to meet client-defined technical requirements
• Implement and optimize LuxOS across mining fleets, offering specialized knowledge around product features
• Collaborate with development and product teams to identify and resolve technical issues
• Conduct firmware installations and optimizations remotely and through on-site deployments
