Remote Founding Front-End Engineer

Summary

Seal is looking for a founding front-end engineer to design and develop UI/UX for their decentralized betting protocol. The role involves onboarding non-technical users onto crypto, and requires proficiency in React (Typescript), strong design skills, and excellent communication skills. Preferred qualifications include experience in building high quality mobile applications, experience at a fast-pace startup, and familiarity with Web3 stack.

Requirements

• Proficient in React (Typescript) with 2+ years of experience; skilled in HTML and CSS
• Familiar with Chakra, Tailwind, or similar frameworks
• Strong design skills; responsible for design decisions due to the absence of an in-house designer
• Fluent in test automation and continuous integration
• Open to backend tasks; no prior experience required
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for daily customer interactions
• Supremely curious

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain our mobile and web apps
• Work closely with the founding team to design user journeys that meets the needs of our customers
• Help build and scale our team
