Summary

Join Vantive Technology, a pre-seed startup within Red Cell Partners, as a Founding Full Stack Engineer. You will play a crucial role in designing and building the foundational software stack and platform solution for our first customers. Collaborate closely with a lean, high-ownership team using a modern stack including React + TypeScript, Python/Node.js APIs, PostgreSQL, AWS, and Docker. Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a significant portion in full stack roles
  • Expertise in front-end technologies such as React, Angular, Next.js, TypeScript, Flowbite, or Tailwind
  • Proficiency in back-end languages and frameworks including Node.js, Python, Java, or Go
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Passionate about creating simple and intuitive user experiences that resonate with users
  • Self-motivated and resourceful, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability; able to drive projects forward independently, collaborate effectively with stakeholders, and proactively tackle challenges to improve processes
  • Ability to stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, and to apply this knowledge to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the team
  • Knowledge of security best practices and the ability to implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data
  • Eligible to secure a U.S. Secret clearance or higher
  • Ability to travel to conferences and/or to other Red Cell locations for in-person meetings
  • Travel will be no more than 25% of your total time

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the frontend of our applications
  • Develop responsive, mobile-friendly, and accessible web applications using HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, while ensuring cross-browser compatibility and seamless integration with RESTful APIs and back-end services
  • Optimize front-end architecture for performance, scalability, and maintainability, leveraging best practices to deliver high-quality user experiences across devices and platforms
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and services to enable seamless integration with various applications and third-party platforms
  • Ensure the security and scalability of frontend and backend systems, implementing best practices for data governance and access control
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, architect solutions, and develop and shape the initial codebase
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality and adherence to coding standards

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an early-stage startup
  • Previous experience or knowledge of complex supply chain systems
  • Strong knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and experience with database design and optimization
  • Proven ability to design and implement scalable platform infrastructure that adheres to SOC2 compliance requirements. Ability or potential to adhere to additional security requirements such as GCC-high, CMMC, NIST 800-171, etc
