Requirements

  • Be a finance professional with a proactive approach to improving processes and partnering with the business
  • Possess 5+ years of experience in FP&A or Strategic Finance, ideally in a SaaS or high-growth B2B environment
  • Be experienced in enhancing financial reporting and building robust models
  • Have a solid understanding of German GAAP (HGB) and accounting principles
  • Excel in communication and collaboration, partnering effectively with non-finance stakeholders
  • Have proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
  • Have an analytical mindset and a keen eye for detail, turning data into actionable insights
  • Be fluent in English

Responsibilities

  • Enhance and expand existing financial reporting and forecasting frameworks, ensuring accuracy and scalability
  • Build and refine financial models to support strategic planning, budgeting, and scenario analysis
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Product, Marketing) to align financial insights with business objectives
  • Analyze and benchmark SaaS metrics and industry trends to inform strategic initiatives
  • Deliver clear and actionable insights to senior leadership through reporting and presentations
  • Support ad hoc analyses and key projects to enable data-driven decision-making
  • Ensure reporting alignment with German GAAP (HGB) and other relevant standards

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have experience with financial planning tools (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive Insights)
  • Have familiarity with DATEV, Salesforce, and Looker or other BI tools
  • Have German proficiency
