Join Axonify, a leading microlearning platform, as a fractional Director, P&C Total Rewards & Operations for a 3-month contract. Strategically oversee P&C Total Rewards and Technology Operations, ensuring effectiveness. Lead a small team, providing hands-on HR expertise to support Axonify’s people strategy, retention, and culture development. The role involves leading compensation market benchmarking, job architecture analysis, and job evaluations; conducting salary benchmarking and modeling; overseeing vendor management and compensation planning; driving communication and enablement for Merit Guidelines; leading Total Rewards cost analysis; providing strategic leadership for HR administration and HRIS; overseeing the Annual Job Description Review Cycle; developing and implementing a Skills Framework; leading the year-end Performance Management cycle launch; generating quarterly people analytics reports; and providing leadership on P&C compliance initiatives. Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Total Rewards and HR Operations, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity
- Demonstrated expertise in building and leading total rewards programs, alongside significant experience with HR technology implementations
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and influencing skills
Responsibilities
- Lead and coach a high-performing team of HR professionals
- Advise on, create, and execute total reward programs that directly drive business forward
- Leadership of compensation market benchmarking, job architecture analysis, and oversight of job evaluations
- Conduct salary benchmarking and modeling for 2026 budgets. Leveraging salary survey analysis across CAD, US, and UK markets, develop budget recommendations that align with Axonify’s total rewards strategy
- Oversee vendor management and compensation planning to scale globally, including the CDN Benefits Renewal
- Drive communication and enablement for Merit Guidelines
- Lead Total Rewards cost analysis
- Provide strategic leadership for HR administration, and HRIS
- Leadership oversight of our HRIS (hibob) and continuously driving automation enhancements with internal systems to ensure optimization, process efficiency, and data integrity
- Further explore and implement the talent calibration model in hibob to support talent planning, with a launch targeted for year-end
- Act as active key stakeholder in P&C AI tech systems adoption, pilot, and drive adoption
- Oversee the Annual Job Description Review Cycle
- Develop and implement a Skills Framework within our HRIS in partnership with the BP team
- Lead the launch of the Year-end Performance Management cycle in our HRIS
- Generate quarterly people analytics reports for Executive and Board presentations, incorporating internal engagement survey analysis
- Provide leadership on P&C compliance initiatives
- Ensure data management practices and people data information/records are up-to-date and controlled within all privacy considerations; maintain all employee files (electronic records) from a data integrity standpoint
