Summary

Join a community of experienced book translators working directly with authors to share their stories in different languages. As a translator on Reedsy, you'll have the opportunity to set your own rates, manage your workload, and work where and when you want.

Requirements

• 3+ years of translating experience
• At least 5 published books that are well-reviewed (and available on Amazon, Apple Books or Google Books) for each of the language pairs your offer
• Experience working for a traditional publisher will be positively valued

Responsibilities

• Work directly with authors
• Translate books in English <> German, English <> Italian, English <> French, English <> Spanish, and English <> Portuguese language pairs

Preferred Qualifications

Copy-edit/proofread translations (or work in tandem with a partner who can do it) to deliver an error-free translation
