Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in New York State
• Minimum of 5 years of experience specializing in contract law, with a proven track record of drafting and negotiating complex contracts
• Expertise in contract law and related legal issues
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Familiarity with legal research tools and contract management software

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with clients in various industries
• Previous freelance or contract-based legal work experience
