Summary

Operation Sports is hiring a sports gaming writer to cover popular video game franchises. The position requires expert knowledge of one of the listed franchises and fluency in English with excellent writing skills. The work involves creating detailed guides for new releases, updating evergreen content, meeting deadlines, reacting to trending topics, and pitching ideas based on expertise.

Requirements

• Fluency in English and excellent writing skills
• Knowledge of SEO practices, WordPress, Trello, and Google Trends
• Expert knowledge of one of the franchises listed above

Responsibilities

• Help cover the latest new releases in the sports and racing genres with detailed guides covering gameplay mechanics, features and frequently asked questions
• Regularly update evergreen content
• Submit clean copy with minimal edits
• Meet deadlines for publishing stories
• React to trending topics quickly
• Pitch your own ideas based on your expert knowledge of the subject matter and understanding of the community

Preferred Qualifications

Benefits

Rates: $11-250 per article depending on length and content type. Rates may vary, depending on location, for international candidates
