Freelance Marketing Assistant

Summary

The Marketing Assistant will support senior marketing staff, manage digital content, create social media plans, grow the follower base, and oversee social media strategy. The candidate should have 3+ years' experience as a Marketing Assistant or Virtual Assistant with good practical experience using MS Office, GSuite, WordPress, HootSuite, HubSpot, etc. This is a remote position requiring a dedicated workspace, an updated personal computer or laptop, and a stable internet connection.

Requirements

• 3+ years' experience of working as a Marketing Assistant, Virtual Assistant
• Good practical experience with MS Office, GSuite, WordPress, HootSuite, HubSpot, etc
• A dedicated secluded working space away from noise and any distractions
• Updated personal computer or laptop with webcam
• Stable internet connection of at least 5Mbps and a backup of a pocket WiFi or Mobile Data

Responsibilities

• Provide support to senior marketing staff
• Manage, optimize and upload all digital content in accordance with best practice and champion SEO for the website
• Create a weekly or monthly social media content plan that will connect to the target audience
• Develop platform specific content and posting under its designated social media outlets
• Grow the follower base consistent with Marketing
• Oversee social media content, as well as implementing and managing the social media strategy
