French Language Lead Linguist

Summary

Join Lilt, a leading language service provider, as a freelance Language Lead for one of our major accounts. This remote position requires native-level fluency in French and at least two years of translation experience. Responsibilities include reviewing translations, performing quality evaluations, implementing customer feedback, identifying trending issues, and collaborating with the linguistic team. You will also review new linguist projects and respond to language-specific queries. The ideal candidate will have a linguistic degree and prior experience in a similar role. Requirements

• Linguists with native speaker fluency only
• Minimum 2 years translation experience
• Previous experience in similar roles

Responsibilities

• Review translations and perform Language Quality Evaluations for customer jobs
• Receive and implement feedback from customer
• Create summary of trending issues and share with linguistic team
• Meet with linguistic team or customer reviewer to discuss quality trends and process improvement
• Review tests and the first projects of all newly onboarded linguists
• Respond to language-specific queries
• Triage linguist queries to determine if questions require customer responses
• Identify terms that need to be added or modified in the glossary
