French Language Tutor

Summary

Join IXL Learning's Rosetta Stone Language Tutor Team as a French Language Tutor and facilitate engaging online tutoring sessions for learners of all levels. You will prepare and adapt sessions, provide constructive feedback, and help learners improve their French language skills. This is a fully remote, part-time position requiring 20-25 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with specific scheduling requirements. The ideal candidate is a native French speaker with a Bachelor's degree and teaching/tutoring experience. Strong technology proficiency and exceptional communication skills are essential. IXL Learning offers a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Requirements

• Native French speaker
• Proven flexibility in schedule to meet the hours outlined in the above overview
• Completion of Bachelor's degree
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, ability to teach grammar concepts
• Exceptional presentation skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills - dynamic, enthusiastic, upbeat individual who connects well with others and has a positive, collaborative attitude
• Must be comfortable with technology and have access to broadband Internet from a personal computer (Wired internet connection required)

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality tutoring sessions in all products offered by Live Coaching
• Prepare and adapt sessions to meet the needs of learners
• Provide constructive feedback to learners for areas of improvement

Preferred Qualifications

• Teaching and/or tutoring experience preferred (familiarity with Rosetta Stone platforms desired)
• Strong proficiency with technology and online platform experience with web conferencing solutions preferred
